For their first go-round, the subject is Los Angeles! Never outside a Bill Simmons column will you find a more passionate discussion of "The Karate Kid Part III". Plus! Great films hint at the motivations and beliefs of ther makers. By that token, the movies El'Ahrai and John talk about this week aren't great, because they SHOUT their THOUGHTS like streetcorner evangelists. Yes, it's the Top 5 Preachiest Films! Plus! Reviews of "Surrogates" and "Trick R Treat"! I was jealous of other men in her design department. I became convinced that she was going to leave me for one of them. Then she left me for one of them.

The human animal is subject to any number of debilitating addictions. Dueling reviews of both "Brüno" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"! Brad, for 14 years I've been a whore for the advertising industry. The only way I could save myself now is if I start firebombing.

The boys review the long, storied career of Dan Aykroyd this week. Well, they try. It turns out to be nothing but trouble. Plus! Reviews of "Whatever Works" and "Sinner"! Now let me tell you something, Streebeck. There are two things that clearly differentiate the human species from animals. One, we use cutlery. Two, we're capable of controlling our sexual urges. Now, you might be an exception, but don't drag me down into your private Hell.

2009 is halfway done. What was your favorite moment? I mean, besides that one. And everyone's picking that one. Come on, be original. Although, so far there's no known treatment for death's crippling effects, still everyone can acquaint himself with the three early warning signs of death: one, rigor mortis; two, a rotting smell; three, occasional drowsiness.
