The San Diego Comic-Con has come and gone for another year (and we're still waiting for some deep-pocketed listener to send us to cover it in person).  The next best thing, then, is to deliver lists of the Top 5 Announcements from San Diego.  Also, the Famous Monsters of Filmland Interview Series continues with Kane Hodder and Robert Cappaleto & David Schmidt.  Plus!  Reviews of "Salt", "Pickman's Muse" and "House of Black Wings"!  I had a very strong work ethic.  The problem was my ethics in work.

Six months have passed.  Half of 2010 is in the books.  That means it's time for the Annual Half-Year In Review Show!  Yes, this week the boys establish their Lists of the Top 5 Movies of the Year So Far!  Plus!  Reviews of "Knight and Day" and "Brooklyn's Finest"!  Now, you're thinking about this all wrong!  It's not so much what you look like, it's what's inside that he can't stand.

Adaptations move in all sort of directions--video game to screen, book to movie, TV to comics, the list goes on (but not on and on). This week in our movie travelogue, El'Ahrai and John tackle New York City, home to everyone from Gordon Gekko to Peter Parker to John Shaft. (With great greed, comes great not copping out?) Plus! Reviews of "Green Zone" and "Collapse"! Don't ever play cards with Pompidou. He has been banned from Las Vegas and Monte Carlo.

Once more into the breach:  This week John and El'Ahrai dissect and correct the results of the Oscars, and one of them is surprisingly persuasive in the argument that "2012" should have received more consideration for its restrained, well-considered screenplay.  Plus!  Reviews of "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Fourth Kind"!  Let's think about this logically. She's either alive, or she's dead.

What is an action movie without a great villain? ("Bad Boys II", I suppose.) This week, El' and John discuss their lists of the Top 5 Action Villains! Plus! Reviews of "Cop Out" and "Breaking Bad Season 2"! Human beings have neither the aural nor the psychological capacity to withstand the awesome power of God's true voice. Were you to hear it, your mind would cave in and your heart would explode within your chest. We went through five Adams before we figured that one out.
